Yes. This is a known problem, fixed. The current release is a few revs
past what you have.
Kermit is available on the Internet via anonymous ftp from host

MS-DOS Kermit for the IBM PC with DOS or Windows:
kermit/bin/msvibm.zip. FTP in binary mode, unzip on your PC.
